YouTube Interactive
Client: SenovvaYear: 2014
This was designed for YouTube’s new building in San Francisco. We were asked to make a custom interactive software solution that would take a video input (any video that youtube wants to play) and create a custom video particle emission tool. As youtube would play their videos through our software, we created realtime particle emission based on color values from the video, audio levels, and motion. We used d3 with MaxMsp and the web module inside of d3. We also broadcast over UDP so that multiple machines could take in the data.
